What is Lesi Pay?
Lesi Pay is a Device Financing solution that offers a microloan facility so that users can purchase their desired Device on an instalment scheme.
How do I know if I’m eligible for the Lesi Pay service?
  • Option 1 - You can check your eligibility for the service by downloading the Genie app from Google Play Store or App store and following the given instructions if you are a Smartphone user.
  • Option 2 - You can check your eligibility for the service by dialling #2020# through your feature phone and follow given instructions, if you are a feature/basic phone user. Special Notice on this for now: Though cx can check eligibility via feature phone by dialling #2020#, Cx needs smart phone to submit the application via Geni App (temporary limitation till we develop the Feature phone journey in the system)
  • Option 3 - By visiting nearest Dialog outlet with your valid NIC, Outlet Device agent will help you to check the eligibility of you for the Lesi Pay service.

How do I obtain a loan to purchase a device?










I don’t have a smartphone, is there an alternative way for me to activate this facility?
Though cx can check eligibility via feature phone by dialling #2020#, Cx needs smart phone to submit the application via Geni App (temporary limitation till we develop the Feature phone journey in the system)
What are the mandatory details I must provide?
  • ID proof ( NIC / DL / PP )
  • Personal details of the original customer
  • Selfie picture of the original customer
  • Permanent address and customer contact details
  • If the NIC stated address differ than the current address – require billing proof (Electricity /water bill)
  • Relative information in case of emergency contact when Cx is not reachable
Can I transfer this offer to my family member or a friend?
No. The offer is exclusively extended to your NIC number.
I have submitted my KYC application through my smartphone. How do I check my application status?
Log in to the Genie app and check the status of your application.
What is my loan duration or repayment period?
You can check the loan replacement period through Genie App.
Do I have to make any payments upfront?
Yes. You must pay a mandatory down payment of the device value mentioned in the App
Can I make a lower down payment?
No.
Can increase the loan amount I’m eligible for?
No, unfortunately the loan amount is fixed. However, you can pay an additional down payment to purchase the device.
How many loans can I obtain?
Only one device loan can obtain at a given time.
Can I obtain another loan after settling my current loan?
Your eligibility is based on your credit rating. Please refer the Genie App for eligibility
How do I know my loan account number?
Once the device is purchased, log in to the Genie app and check.
How can I check my Lesi Pay loan outstanding balance and the due date for settlement?
Log in to the Genie app 🡪 Click on Loan 🡪 Click on Device loan to find the ‘Payment Outstanding’
How do I know if the payment has been made? Can I check the payment history?

Can I get physical documents of my transactions?
Lesi Pay is a fully-digital solution. Therefore, physical documentation is not available. However, you may view your loan statement via the Genie app.
Can I place a standing order to automatically deduct the instalment from my eZ Cash or Genie account?
This feature is not available yet, but will be soon.
How will I know if my loan has been closed?
The due date of the last payment will be considered as the closing date of the loan.
Can I extend the loan period while I’m making repayments?
No. You are required to make the repayments within the given period.
Applicable charges
How much will I be charged as interest?
Interest rates will vary based on your credit profile. You can check the rate at the time of purchase.
Will I be charged for late payments?
Yes. You will be charged with an interest rate of 3% per annum on the amount which exceed the due period
Do I get charged for loan processing?
Yes. You will be charged a process fee and It will be vary based on your loan value & instalment plan period. Please refer Genie App under loan process for more details
From what company is this Device loan facility given?
Please be informed that the loan facility provided by Dialog Finance PLC is offered by a licensed finance company under the regulations of the Central Bank. As part of this service, your loan behavior will be reported to the Credit Information Bureau (CRIB).

It is important to note that if loan repayments are not made on time, it could impact your CRIB status and overall credit rating.
Loan, instalment and penalty calculation methods
How will my loan due date get calculated?
Your billing date will be the exact day of the month your loan was activated, starting from the next immediate month.

Ex: Loan Activation date : 10th November 2023
Billing Cycle : 10th Of each month starting from December 2023
Can I make an early settlement or a part of the payment at any given time?
Yes. You can refer the early settlement details through Genie App under Loan Account
Payment related
How do I make repayments?
  • eZ cash - Register for eZ Cash via the Genie app and make a eZ cash payment
  • Debit/Credit card - Register for Debit/Credit card option via the Genie app and add your card
  • Visit a Dialog customer experience centre or Dialog franchise service centres
  • Dialog Ezcash merchants island wide can accept Lesi pay payment.
  • Public Mega Pay (Kiosk) machines island wide
Am I entitled to benefits for early settlement?
Yes. You can view benefits by logging in to the Genie app under loan settlement details
Do I get charged for instalment payments (when paying through the app)?
No service charges are applicable for instalment payments.
How do I check my instalment due date?
Log in to the Genie app and check under Device loan details to view your due date.
Assistance in applying for a loan
I didn’t receive my OTP code. What do I do?
Click “Resend the OTP” on the Genie app, or relaunch the app and try again.
My OTP is blocked. What do I do?
This means that your account has been blocked. Relaunch the Genie app, enter the mobile number, and validate the OTP code.
I’m unable to log in, and my eZ Cash PIN has been blocked. What do I do?
Contact 7111 to reset your PIN.
I can’t remember my Genie username. What do I do?
Your NIC number is your username.
My Genie password is blocked/I don’t remember it. What do I do?
Reset your password by answering the security question or if it’s blocked, contact our hotline on 760760760 to unblock it.
Devices bundled with connection related
What are the available schemes?
Currently we have enabled Smartphone devices.
Do I entitle for all device schemes?
For the movement you will be eligible only for one device scheme at a given time.
Can I change my scheme on demand?
Sorry. Currently we cannot full fill your requirement.
How should I pay to the loan?
You will receive a separate loan ID for the LesiPay loan which is starting from 00107XXXXXXX ( 12 Digits ). You can make the repayments via Genie app to the loan account.
Mistakenly I paid my loan instalment to the connection reference. Can it be transferred to the loan?
Sorry. We cannot do any payment transfers internally. You need to request for a refund at the payment point. Please make sure to double check the account related details before you proceed with the payment confirmation.

I want to cancel my loan
Sorry, Once the loan is created the cancelations and the return policies are not applicable. However any exceptional situation such as device malfunctioning will be handled based on valid justification with approval of Dialog management.
My device is faulty. I need to replace
Please visit to nearest authorised service centre of the Device you purchased with the warranty details. and inform them regarding your issue/concern.

I’ve selected a device and a preferred location to collect the device, still did not get the confirmation
If you are a fresh user, you will receive a confirmation notification once the verification process is completed.
Can I change the selected device after the reservation?
Inform device agent about the request once you visited to the outlet
Can I visited different outlet and collect the device?
Yes you can. But your reservation will not be valid for different outlets.
My reservation got expired. What should I do?
You can place another reservation via the app.
Can I extend my reservation?
Sorry, reservation valid only for 2 days.

How do I find out the eligible Devices under Lesi pay instalment plan ?

Can I use this loan to purchase another preferred device that I’m not eligible for?
No. The offer is restricted to a Product range eligible for you.
I have a problem with my device. Whom should I contact?
Please visit an authorised service centre of the Device you purchased with the warranty details.

Make sure your NIC matches the NIC which registered the mobile number that received the SMS invite.

Device Blocking Feature Related
What is Device blocking feature?
It is a remote device control feature for devices with instalment plans. Since all the devices are purchased under a monthly loan instalment scheme under Lesi Pay, this security feature is enabled in all devices. In the event a customer fails to repay the loan, Lesi Pay can block the device using this feature. Once the customer settles the outstanding, the device will then be automatically unlocked.

And it is required to use active Dialog Connection either sim slot 1 or sim slot 2 to avoid phone getting locked due to not using Dialog connection And Customer require to connect data / Wi-Fi oftenly to avoid device getting locked due to being offline (at least connect data / wifi once a month for few hours required)
How can I unsubscribe from these notifications?
Unfortunately, the notifications cannot be stopped until your loan is fully paid and completed.
I want to gift this device to my friend and remove this Device blocking feature, What do I do?
You cannot hand this device over to a third party until you fully settle the loan outstanding.
What features does it have?
  • Enrollment notifications - A message will be displayed on the device to communicate initial enrollment and also in each & every SIM card change. This message will be displayed on each device reboot and SIM card changes.
  • Overdue notifications - Where loan payments are overdue, notifications as payment reminders shall be sent to the purchased device.
  • Blink Reminders - When an overdue payment notification fails to result in a prompt payment, a periodic blinking payment reminder will be sent to the purchased device as an escalated payment reminder. This blinking notification will not stop until you make the required payment.
  • Lock devices - Where loan payments are overdue, the purchased device can be locked only when we receive the payment from the customer it will automatically unlock after the 24hrs of time of the payment.
  • Offline device locks - If a customer has not paid the instalments despite the given reminders & in the event that the device's data is offed to avoid repayment, an offline device lock will automatically lock the particular device until repayment is done. This can occur when the customer does not connect to the network as a means of evading payment, and the device cannot be tracked since it is no longer receiving updates from the server.
  • Sim Lock – Customer need to use active Dialog sim in either sim slot 1 or Sim slot 2 to avoid device getting locked due non availability of Dialog active connection.
What happens if I don’t settle my due payments on time?
Your device will get blocked and you will not be able to use the device until you make the required payments
My device has been blocked. What do I do?
You must settle 100% of your total loan outstanding dues/arears. The system will automatically unblock the device once all payments are settled. It will take 24 hrs to unlock the device after the payment.
How can I check my Loan outstanding once by Device is blocked?
You need to call to recovery hotline (777575727) Before the looking you will notify to pay.
