What is Lesi Pay?
Lesi Pay is a Device Financing solution that offers a microloan facility so that users can purchase their desired Device on an instalment scheme.
How do I know if I’m eligible for the Lesi Pay service?
  • Option 1 - You can check your eligibility for the service by downloading the Genie app from Google Play Store or App store and following the given instructions if you are a Smartphone user.
  • Option 2 - You can check your eligibility for the service by dialling #2020# through your feature phone and follow given instructions, if you are a feature/basic phone user. Special Notice on this for now: Though cx can check eligibility via feature phone by dialling #2020#, Cx needs smart phone to submit the application via Geni App (temporary limitation till we develop the Feature phone journey in the system)
  • Option 3 - By visiting nearest Dialog outlet with your valid NIC, Outlet Device agent will help you to check the eligibility of you for the Lesi Pay service.
Why didn’t I get a SMS notification for the loan?
You can check by downloading the Genie app from Google Play Store or App store and following the given instructions or dial #2020#
How do I obtain a loan to purchase a device?










I don’t have a smartphone, is there an alternative way for me to activate this facility?
Though cx can check eligibility via feature phone by dialling #2020#, Cx needs smart phone to submit the application via Geni App (temporary limitation till we develop the Feature phone journey in the system)
What are the mandatory details I must provide?
  • ID proof ( NIC / DL / PP )
  • Personal details of the original customer
  • Selfie picture of the original customer
  • Permanent address and customer contact details
  • If the NIC stated address differ than the current address – require billing proof (Electricity /water bill)
  • Relative information in case of emergency contact when Cx is not reachable
Can I transfer this offer to my family member or a friend?
No. The offer is exclusively extended to your NIC number.
I have submitted my KYC application through my smartphone. How do I check my application status?
Log in to the Genie app and check the status of your application.
What is my loan duration or repayment period?
You can check the loan replacement period through Genie App.
Do I have to make any payments upfront?
Yes. You must pay a mandatory down payment of the device value mentioned in the App
Can I make a lower down payment?
No
Can increase the loan amount I’m eligible for?
No, unfortunately the loan amount is fixed. However, you can pay an additional down payment to purchase the device.
How many loans can I obtain?
Only one device loan can obtain at a given time.
Can I obtain another loan after settling my current loan?
Your eligibility is based on your credit rating. Please refer the Genie App for eligibility
How do I know my loan account number?
Once the device is purchased, log in to the Genie app and check.
How can I check my Lesi Pay loan outstanding balance and the due date for settlement?
Log in to the Genie app 🡪 Click on Loan 🡪 Click on Device loan to find the ‘Payment Outstanding’
How do I know if the payment has been made? Can I check the payment history?
Log in to Genie app 🡪 Click on to Lesi Pay 🡪 Click on ‘Payment History’
Can I get physical documents of my transactions?
Lesi Pay is a fully-digital solution. Therefore, physical documentation is not available. However, you may view your loan statement via the Genie app.
What is Lesi Pay Doorstep Delivery?
LesiPay Doorstep Delivery allows you to receive your purchased device directly at your home, anywhere in Sri Lanka, within 3 working days.
What devices are available for purchase?
You can buy any iOS or Android smartphone device available at Dialog outlets, subject to stock availability.
Do I need to submit any documents for delivery?
No additional documents are needed. Just ensure your delivery details are accurate when placing the order.
How long does loan approval take?
Loan approvals are typically completed within 1 working day.
How do I make the down payment?
You can pay using any debit or credit card via the Genie app.
How does the delivery process work and how long does it take?
Once your loan is approved and the down payment is made:
  • 1. Your delivery details are sent to our trusted third-party delivery partner.
  • 2. The device is prepared, security-locked, resealed and dispatched.
  • 3. Delivery is completed within 3 working days of placing the order.
Do I need to visit a Dialog outlet at any point?
No, there is no requirement to visit an outlet. The entire process is online and delivery is available islandwide.
What are the delivery charges?
A flat delivery fee of Rs. 500 will be added to your down payment.
Can I change the delivery address after placing my order?
Yes, only if you contact the Dialog Finance hotline on the same day the order is placed. After this, we may be unable to process any changes.
Can I track my delivery?
Yes. A tracking link will be shared via the Genie app and SMS once the order is dispatched. You can track it through the delivery partner’s website.
What if the device arrives damaged or faulty?
Please return the device in its original condition to the nearest Dialog outlet.
Will the phone be sealed?
The device will be unboxed for security setup and then resealed in its original packaging.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. All devices come with a 1-year warranty and are TRCSL-approved.
Can I order a phone as a gift for someone else?
Yes. Enter the recipient’s name and contact number in the delivery details.
What if I have questions or issues with my order?
You can check your order status on the Genie app. For support, call the Genie hotline: 076 076 0760.
Can I cancel or change my order after confirmation?
No. Orders cannot be changed or canceled once confirmed in the Genie app.
What is the refund policy?
No refunds are available for Lesi Pay online deliveries.
What happens if I don’t make the down payment within the given time?
If the down payment is not made within 2 days of loan approval, your order will be automatically canceled.
Can I use the same phone number as both the primary and alternate contact?
No. The alternate contact number must be different from the primary number provided.
Is the delivery available on weekends or public holidays?
Deliveries are made on working days only. Orders placed close to weekends or holidays may take slightly longer.
What if I miss the delivery attempt?
If the delivery agent is unable to reach you, they will attempt to contact you again. You may also call 076 076 0760 for assistance.
Will I receive a confirmation once my order is placed?
Yes. You will receive an in-app notification and SMS confirming your order and providing tracking details.
Can I return the device if I change my mind?
No. Returns or refunds are not allowed once the order is confirmed and dispatched.
What if I entered incorrect delivery details?
You must contact the Dialog Finance hotline on the same day the order is placed to request changes.
Is the delivery fee refundable if the order is canceled?
The delivery fee is non-refundable once the order is confirmed.
How is my personal information handled during delivery?
Your delivery details are securely shared only with the authorized third-party courier for fulfillment purposes.
Can I delay the delivery after placing the order?
No. Once the order is confirmed and the down payment is made, the delivery process begins immediately.
